Nestled within the prestigious Bangsar, this bungalow is a stunningly unique piece designed to defy convention. Comprises of three storeys, it is inclusive of a basement and a swimming pool by the terrace.
The facade of the house displays tones of white and gray where the subtlety of the palette is key to making the residence both opulent and understated. Highlighting the frontal façade are Glass Fibre. The varied spaces in the house respond to different ‘modes’ of living, with different volumetric, acoustic, and lighting attributes. Whilst these spaces are linked to a greater or lesser degree, they are not ‘open plan’ in a conventional sense, rather configured in a more nuanced distribution of distinct spaces and functions. The outdoor verandah serves as an attached, semi-open entity to function like living. The outdoor pool and deck hugs the living and dining spaces thereby bringing in natural light and ventilation. Such measures ensure that energy usage is kept at minimal. The poolside space extends into a lawn making it an ideal space for leisure.
